Gone To Carolina II

I have been coming to the Outer Banks since I was a teenager and we have been coming to this home for years. Our dentist formerly owned the home and the new owners have added even more great amenities to it...like a screened in porch and wireless internet service.

The pool is fantastic and is very private which is really key for us. I personally LOVE the outdoor shower and use it almost everyday that I am there. The hot tub is also a wonderful amenity.

We did not go last year as we decided to try Cape Cod since it is so much closer for us...but we missed North Carolina so much. Nothing is the same as the beautiful Outer Banks. Our 6 year old twin son and daughter have already started asking when we are going to North Carolina. I assured them that we are going this year.

The Currituck Club, where this home is located, is also an amazing club. It has beautiful golf course which my husband and father love to play at. There are several large community pools and the beach is very close by. There is also shopping very close by and if you have a 4-wheel vehicle you can head north on Route 12 and to where you can drive on the beach. Last time we went we actually saw the wild horses and it was amazing! The kids LOVED it.

The Outer Banks is the PERFECT summer vacation destination and Corolla, with its more quiet atmosphere is the perfect spot on the OBX for those that do not want large noisy crowds.

* Going to the beach in the 4 wheel drive only area and having a picnic
on the beach and looking for the Wild Horses
* Going to lighthouses on the Outer Banks
* Relaxing by the pool with margaritas!!

Favorite Places to Visit or Eat: The Sanderling Spa has amazing services. For massage, ask for Kathy...she is the BEST!
